Medefer Dermatology offers fast, remote access to consultant dermatologists, providing expert diagnosis and treatment advice for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. You’ll receive a personalised care plan based on your submitted questionnaire and images, with prescriptions available where appropriate.
Right now all tests and procedures are available in London clinics at an additional cost if recommended by your consultant.
Our remote service provides you with fast access to initial assessment and a treatment plan. If your plan requires procedures or in-person tests, you will receive a clear plan outlining all recommended treatments and next steps.

2. If you need a procedure (like a biopsy): We offer these at our London clinics.
You can choose to have procedures with us, or use your consultant’s plan to arrange them yourself. The benefit is in the access to specialist consultant expertise and a clear treatment plan, enabling efficient care tailored to your needs, wherever you choose to proceed.
We can arrange:
1. Blood tests – Available nationwide through our partner network.
2. Skin biopsies & scrapings – Available in London clinics at an additional cost if recommended by your consultant.

Most patients only need simple treatments to get better quickly. But if more tests are recommended, we’re here to help you move forward with confidence.
If your consultant advises a biopsy, skin scraping or other tests, you can choose where to have them done. For a convenient, consultant-led option, we offer testing through our London-based clinics at competitive prices. Blood tests are available nationally.
Once your results are ready, you’ll receive a clear, personalised plan explaining the findings and next steps.

If a diagnostics test is recommended but you can’t access our London clinics, we will:

Yes. Medefer is a remote-first national service. Many patients only need a consultant-led remote assessment. If further tests are needed, we’ll guide you on how to arrange them locally.
