If you need tests or treatment at a location that’s a bit further away or you find it hard to get around, Medefer can help by arranging transport. We have sites available in Stoke, Stafford and Birmingham for testing.

Medefer receives your referral from your GP and assesses it based on specific criteria. We will either accept or reject the referral accordingly.
Backlog patients: We also support NHS hospitals and your care maybe transferred to us. Your hospital will inform you if this takes place.
You will receive an introduction pack by post. Your consultant will review your case, then write to you and copy in your GP. Medefer typically completes this referral process within 48 hours.
Backlog patients: If you've been waiting for over 3 months, you may be asked to complete an online questionnaire or speak to a doctor immediately. You may also receive digital updates via email or SMS. After receiving the necessary information, your consultant will review it and provide feedback to both you and your GP.
